Saloni Dattani studied biomedical sciences at Imperial College London before moving into the field of behaviour genetics. She is now a PhD candidate at King's College London and the University of Hong Kong, studying the genetics of psychiatric illness. Saloni is also a science writer for UnHerd and Works in Progress, an online magazine she co-founded on the theme of human progress, which was launched in August 2020.
